DataTek provides phone system integration as well as structured CAT 5 and Fiber Optic Wiring Systems. We are pleased to announce the addition of a new product line from 3Com featuring the NBX 25 and the NBX 100 phone systems. These phone systems are unique in that they use Voice Over IP technology. This new exciting technology prepares you for the future of phone and voice system integration. As applications become more robust and video conferencing features become more apparent, VoIP technology provides the necessary integration of both voice and data.
The NBX series phone systems use the TCP/IP protocol for all your phone system requirements. This allows you to use existing data wiring to deploy your phones and provides a common protocol for the exchange of information. In addition to all of the standard phone system features, the NBX series also comes standard with voice mail, remote IP, and telephony features. You can even have a software phone on your PC which is identical to the normal hand held phone.
